On this day, Tane and I made the decision to boost up the mountain to catch the last day ski chair up to the top of Coronet Peak to snap some shots of sunset. It was an absolute steamer of an arvo and it couldn’t have gotten much better until a few paragliders arrived to take off in the hills.
While I was working for New Zealand Trails and touring around the South Island we’d spend a lot of time staying in these really isolated spots called Okarito, Punakaiki and the Hollyford which are found along the West Coast. All of these spots are so unique and untouched, making it hard to not get the camera and grab some snaps for myself.
